My name is Amy Halls and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I believe that everyone experiences pain and distress in their life, and there are times when you need someone to walk beside you and help you through that journey. I want each client to have a safe, non-judgmental and understanding environment to explore stressors, relationships, and life transitions. My true passion in life is helping others.
I attended the University of Iowa for my undergrad (Go Hawks!) and graduated from Liberty University with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. My expertise is in working with individuals, couples, and families on several different issues including anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, traumatic experiences, emotional dysregulation, marriage struggles, family struggles, affairs, blended family struggles, parenting challenges, relationship distress, boundaries, assertiveness, relationship with food, bariatric surgery, body image, and self-worth.
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich administrator for pre-marital and marital counseling. I have completed Level Two of the Gottman Method of Therapy for Couples. I work with couples on managing conflict, deepening their intimacy, healing past hurts and betrayals, and opening up dialogue surrounding gridlocked issues. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and Transforming Touch® and Transforming Intentional Touch®.
I use a very collaborative approach by listening to my clients, establishing their goals, and then providing insight, wisdom, techniques and skills to help them overcome and move through their difficulties. I use humor and energy to help balance out the heaviness of life's challenges when appropriate. I approach my clients with warmth, compassion, and empathy to help them feel comfortable as they open up about difficult topics. I use several different treatment styles depending on the individual needs of each client, but the foundation of my approach is derived from a Cognitive approach and EMDR.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, cooking, being outdoors, camping, and connected to nature, Crossfit and playing/watching sports.
I look forward to working with you and helping you live the balanced life that you desire!

My name is Jordan Woolman and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). I strive to help others feel empowered and to be able to cope with their mental health and life in general. We will work together so that you can begin to heal, learn how to keep growing and improving yourself and work towards your goals. Everyone needs additional support at times in their lives that is neutral, non-judgmental and unbiased to help get through life's trials & tribulations. My goal is to meet you where you are at and be a support to you.
I attended the University of Northern Iowa for my undergrad in Psychology and Family Studies. I then pursued my master’s degree in social work with an emphasis in mental health from the University of Southern California. I have been practicing since September 2015. I have been working in the mental health and human services field since 2011; providing BHIS, substance abuse, and outpatient mental health therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families.
My passion is primarily working with adolescents and adults. Mental health and substance abuse are my areas of specialty. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including: CBT, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, problem-solving, task-centered, narrative and motivational interviewing. I primarily work with those suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship distress, PTSD, adjustment disorders, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse issues, and life transitions.
Each client I see has their own tailored treatment plan and goals to work towards. I create a plan that is individualized for each client in order to create the best outcome and to create and maintain balance and stability into each client’s life. I am very much a person who practices what I preach and will utilize my knowledge, education, and experience to help you find the skills that work best for you.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, my significant other, friends, and the fur babies. I enjoy bowling, listening to live music, and exploring new places, foods, and all the beauty nature has to offer.

My name is Marci Earp, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). My goal as a therapist is to listen with an empathetic ear, validate your concerns and collaborate with you to create the change you are seeking in your life.
I have over 10 years of experience in the human services field and have been a Licensed Master Social Worker for the past 4. I received my undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University and my Master of Social Work from The University of Iowa. I have worked in a wide variety of settings with all walks of life, from children to older adults, students to justice involved individuals. I strongly support equitable treatment of all individuals and fully support a person’s right to self-determination in all areas of their life. My passion is working with people who are motivated to change, who are often high achieving but struggle to make their needs and wants a priority.
I believe everyone has the power and ability to overcome even the most difficult circumstances and use those experiences to grow. I believe validation is paramount to developing a strong therapeutic alliance. Your experiences are real, valid and important. I offer a non-judgmental, emotionally safe space to bring your concerns. I believe humor is important, when appropriate, and strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment that makes room for the lighter side of life as well as the heavy.
I use a trauma informed, cognitive/dialectical behavioral therapeutic approach and a solution focused, collaborative model to treatment planning. I am trained in culturally competent mental health care and understand that each person is unique and has different needs. Your treatment plan will be tailored to you and your specific circumstances.
I have experience treating a variety of issues and concerns such as: abandonment, abuse, anxiety, attachment issues, body image, boundary setting, change, codependency, control issues, depression, divorce/divorce adjustment, emotional abuse, fear, isolation, life-purpose, parenting, physical abuse, self-care, self-compassion, self-esteem, self-worth, shame, social anxiety, stress, trust issues, and worry.
In my free time I enjoy running, weight training, cycling and reading. I am a 12-year member of the Army National Guard and am married to a 20-year veteran of the National Guard/Reserves as well. Together, my husband and I have a blended family of 7 to keep us busy.
I am excited to meet you and it is an honor to walk alongside you as you take this next step toward creating the life you deserve.

Hello! My name is Marissa Schuster and I am a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC). I am in my last year of training under the supervision of Amy Halls, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
I received my bachelor’s degree from Drake University in Psychology. I enjoyed Drake University so much, I decided to stay and pursued my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working within the mental health community since 2015 working with complex trauma, attachment wounds, relationships, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. In 2015, I started within the juvenile delinquent system and was involved with treatment with offenders, crime victims, and victims of sex trafficking. I am a Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Trainer trained by Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS) in New York and from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. I am also currently involved in the Iowa Task Force for Young Women (ITFYW), as a subcommittee of the Juvenile Justice Advisory Council (JJAC). The ITFYW serves to address the issue of females, the juvenile justice, and to advise the JJAC.
My passion is working with teenagers and adults suffering from complex trauma, depression, dissociative disorders, stress management, self-esteem, mood issues, and relationship issues. I typically will use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Theory. I understand each person is unique and has different styles. Your treatment plan will be suited to you and your specific needs.
I think of therapy as a collaborative process: As the guide, I'll help you through this journey in life to recognize, understand, and overcome challenges that continue to impact you. My aim is to help you create the necessary changes while providing safety and connection in a collaborative relationship. Together, we will navigate you towards living a more meaningful and harmonious life.
I look forward to meeting with you and helping you work through this journey of life.
